The Hangout Zone Rules


These are the Hangout Zone rules and they are here to keep the forum safe and happy. If these rules are broken in anyway your actions will not tolerated and you will lose warning points or even be banned depending on the seriousness of your rule violation.

Here are the rules...

1. A search should be done to see if your questions have not been already posted. You have a FAQ section where you can find answers for general questions about board management

2. You must try to type your topics or replies a best of your abilitie so that they are understandable.

3. - When you write your message, please don't abuse capitals (it means that you shout) or colors.
Colors and Bold text are reserved for moderation, therefore don't use them.

4. Please do not spam! This is probably one of the most important rules on this forum, spam stands for Stupid Pointless Annoying Messages, and if you are caught doing this you will loose warning points.

5. Swearing on The Hangout Zone is absolutely not tolerated you will loose 50 points as soon as a member of staff sees it.

6. Double posting is not allowed we have an edit button please use it.

7. No arguments as it disrupts the Hangout Zone community and upsets members.

8. No posting anything under 5 characters this is counted as spam and it will be moderated according to the no spam rule.

9. This is an important rule on the The Hangout Zone that rude or indecent Avatars , Signatures or any other pictures posted will be deleted and you will be banned immediately.

10. No backseat moderating, this means that you are moderating eg. That was spamming!!

11. No shouting at mods. Moderators arn't paid they work voluntarily and if a moderator has had to edit your post or taken points away you DO NOT shout at them they have moderated you for a good reason so please be responsible.

12. No Pm fighting, this is rude and worse than doing the fighting in the community your pm'ing ability will be removed.

13. This is nearly the same rule as before but no advertising via pm! Its rude there is a promotion topic to advertise your forum in.

The last note is that moderators reserve the right to edit or remove any part of topics or lock or trash them that is there job on the forum.
